ART COMPETITION – TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Eligibility

1.1 The competition is open to participants of all skill levels, including amateurs, students, and professional artists, unless otherwise specified by the organizer.

1.2 Participants must fall within the age category mentioned for the specific event (if applicable). Proof of age may be requested at any stage of the competition.

1.3 Employees, organizers, sponsors, judges, and their immediate family members may not be eligible to participate.

1.4 Participants must provide accurate and complete information during registration. Any false or misleading information may result in disqualification.


2. Registration

2.1 Participants must complete the official online/offline registration form before the specified deadline.

2.2 Only one entry per participant is allowed unless otherwise stated by the organizer. Multiple submissions may lead to disqualification.

2.3 Registration will be considered successful only after payment confirmation (if registration fees apply).

2.4 Registration fees, once paid, are generally non-refundable except in the case of event cancellation by the organizer.

2.5 If the competition is canceled for any reason by the organizer, the registration fee will be fully refunded to all registered participants.


3. Theme & Competition Guidelines

3.1 All artworks must strictly follow the announced competition theme. Entries that do not relate to the theme may be rejected.

3.2 The artwork submitted must be entirely original and created solely by the participant.

3.3 Use of copyrighted images, copied content, plagiarism, or unauthorized material is strictly prohibited.

3.4 AI-generated artwork or AI-assisted content is not permitted unless specifically allowed by the organizer.

3.5 Any artwork found violating originality guidelines will be immediately disqualified.

4. Submission Rules

4.1 Artwork must be submitted in the prescribed digital format such as JPEG, PNG, or PDF through the official submission platform or email address provided by the organizer.

4.2 Participants must follow all instructions regarding file size, dimensions, naming conventions, and submission procedures.

4.3 Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.

4.4 Participants are advised to keep a backup copy of their artwork and submission confirmation for future reference.

4.5 Once submitted, entries cannot be modified or replaced unless permitted by the organizer.

5. Artwork Specifications

5.1 The competition allows open mediums including watercolor, acrylic, oil painting, sketching, mixed media and canvas creative forms unless otherwise specified.

5.2 Artwork must not contain:

Offensive or abusive content
Political propaganda
Religious hatred or discrimination
Obscene or inappropriate material
Violent or harmful imagery

5.3 Any entry violating these standards may be rejected without prior notice.

5.4 The organizer reserves the right to request proof of originality, including sketches, drafts, or work-in-progress files.

6. Judging Criteria

6.1 Entries will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

Creativity and originality
Relevance to the competition theme
Artistic skill and technique
Composition and presentation
Overall visual impact

6.2 The judging panel may consist of professional artists, designers, educators, or industry experts.

6.3 The decision of the judges will be final and binding. No correspondence or appeals regarding the results will be entertained.

7. Prizes & Recognition

7.1 Winners will receive prizes, certificates, trophies, medals, or other rewards as announced by the organizer.
7.2 All prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless specifically mentioned.
7.3 The organizer reserves the right to substitute prizes with items of equal value if necessary.
7.4 Certificates may be provided in digital or printed format depending on the event arrangement.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

8.1 Participants will retain ownership and copyright of their original artwork.
8.2 By participating in the competition, participants grant the organizer permission to:
Display submitted artwork
Publish artwork on websites or social media
Use artwork for promotional, educational, or non-commercial purposes

8.3 Proper credit will always be given to the participant wherever reasonably possible.

9. Disqualification

9.1 Participants may be disqualified for:

Providing false information
Submitting plagiarized or copied work
Violating competition rules
Using offensive or prohibited content
Attempting to influence judges unfairly

9.2 The organizer reserves the right to reject or remove any entry without providing a detailed explanation.

10. Liability

10.1 The organizer is not responsible for:
Technical issues during registration or submission
Internet failures or server problems
Lost, delayed, corrupted, or incomplete submissions
Any damage caused by participation in the event

10.2 Participants are solely responsible for ensuring successful and timely submission of their artwork.

11. Amendments & Event Changes

11.1 The organizer reserves the right to:

Modify competition rules and regulations
Extend or change deadlines
Change the event schedule or competition date
Cancel or postpone the competition if required

11.2 Any changes will be communicated through the official website, email, or social media platforms. Participants are advised to regularly check for updates.

12. Acceptance of Terms

12.1 By participating in the competition, all participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions mentioned above.

12.2 Participants are advised to carefully read all event instructions, guidelines, and updates before participating in the competition.

12.3 Failure to comply with any rule may result in disqualification from the competition.

The organizer’s decision regarding any dispute will be final.
